Asian Art Museum

Branding, 2025
This project is a rebranding proposal for the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

The concept centers on bridging cultures “connecting different communities while highlighting Asian American identity and cultural presence.” The visual system draws inspiration from the Golden Gate Bridge, using its structural lines as a metaphor for connection and exchange. The color palette is inspired by natural clay tones commonly found in Asian materials and landscapes, grounding the identity in a sense of history and material culture.

This project reflects how a brand can be reinterpreted through another person’s understanding and perspective. Rather than simply redesigning, it becomes a process of translation and reflection based on the existing identity.
